About KCDI Jamaica

    

Kevoy Community Development Institute (KCDI), Jamaica Ltd is a national and regional training institution dedicated to empowering farmers and their communities through innovative education and sustainable development. Established in 2009 and officially registered in 2022, KCDI Jamaica delivers high-quality training in Farm Management and Community Development across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.

We are proud to be the driving force behind several pioneering programs, including:

  • Interment Operations, National Vocational Qualification, Jamaica  and  Caribbean Vocational Qualification Level 2
  • Electronic Waste Management Training
  • Farm Management Training

These programs are designed to uplift communities and strengthen local economies, with far-reaching benefits for the region.

Our success is built on strong partnerships. With the support of affiliates and strategic collaborators, we adopt a hands-on, community-centered approach that fosters sustainable impact.

KCDI Jamaica is governed by a diverse and experienced Board of Directors, representing academia, the private sector, and civil society. This leadership ensures strategic direction, accountability, and organizational excellence.

Since 2013, KCDI Jamaica has held Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), a recognition of our commitment to advancing regional development in alignment with global goals.

Kevoy Community Development Institute (KCDI) Jamaica is committed to the empowerment of rural Caribbean people through agricultural and community development training programs; resource mobilization and social project management; thereby increasing the employability and reducing the socio-economic vulnerability of marginalized groups.
